The onslaught of news makes it hard to keep track of who’s doing what. Here’s a one-stop glance at 3Fold news from this spring.
In the Media
In March, we were the proud recipients of a Silver ADDY for B-to-B website, awarded for the Broad Insights site we launched late last year. The Greenville News explains more about the award.
Good Stuff
Every Monday, our whole team celebrates “good stuff” from the past week. We think that recognizing the positives in our lives, both personal and professional, is important. Here are a few highlights from this month.
Launched new landing page
We recently created a new homepage element and landing page for TCG Consulting, a global advisory firm dedicated to transforming corporate travel, meetings, payment, and expense (TMPE) management for corporate, government and non-profit clients. We were excited to be part of spreading the news about their total cost of ownership (TCO-TMPESM) innovation and approach for this industry.
Launched fractional CFO campaign
For Broad Insights, we launched a campaign focused on their fractional CFO services. The campaign, complete with ads, landing page, whitepaper, and emails, came together with remarkably minimal time invested by the client and represents what we love about great partnerships.
Saw the fruits of truly remote work
For many of our team members, great work is possible from anywhere in the world. This spring, our Lead Developer, Alex Woehr, has proved that concept by pursuing his passion for ministry in South America. Working from Chile temporarily, Alex has adapted to new forms of communication and a new schedule, completing his regular work while also serving in a new culture.
Around the Office
Rolling out scrum
We believe in constantly improving around here, and traffic is an area we’re always tinkering with, trying to find the best possible systems for producing consistently great work efficiently. Early this spring, many long months of planning work culminated in the rollout of a new traffic process based in the scrum model from software development. The details of the model aren’t important—though if you’re curious, we’re happy to talk!—so much as the results. Everyone was relieved to find that we like the new system! We’re already seeing improvements in communication and productivity.
New hire
We’ve very recently hired Jon Burr as Traffic Coordinator. With our growth, it became imperative to add more traffic staff and free up our other team members for their Unique Ability work. We love Jon’s spirit and we’re excited to see how he can help us keep improving!
Wrapping Up
Whew! Spring is almost over, and we’re headed into summer, with all its joys and irritations. Time flies when you’re working hard, and we certainly feel like these first several months passed quickly! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds.
