Growll.com is an online print vendor that specializes in wholesale printing for resellers through a membership program. The print industry is crowded, shrinking, and increasingly dominated by larger printers who have consolidated business. When Growll came to us, they had a steadily shrinking list of current accounts and not enough new accounts to replace the lost business.
Sales were unpredictable and cash flow was volatile, which made budgeting and planning difficult. Also, Growll’s image and marketing had not kept pace with their growth or industry trends.
Action
As Growll’s agency of record, we began attacking their challenges on several fronts. We executed a digital advertising campaign to grow new members, an email campaign to engage the new members, and a website redesign to both attract new members and improve the experience for existing clients. We also contributed to building an outbound marketing campaign, a mobile website, and the rollout of new products and pricing.
Marketing automation proved to be a valuable key for this online business. Through careful segmentation and targeted email contact, we were able to ensure that Growll’s members received timely and appropriate updates, promotions, and tips.
Because our digital marketing program had KPIs at every step of the customer journey, we were able to pinpoint where Growll was losing customers and bring significant clarity to the problem that brought them to us initially. Results
